Default Any info on 2006 at dealers???

Ready to trade out of my MB-ML to a CS or CTT and trying to figure out when the 06 models will be in dealers so I can decide if I want a new 06 or try to get a great deal on 05 inventory.

Many thanks in advance!

The first '06 Cayenne's have already started arriving here in Southern California.

Any pics? I haven't seen (or heard) anything from my local dealer here in Vegas nor on the website. Rumor has it that the 2006 model has changed.

No change! There's a new auto disengage for the airbag (passenger side) and two buttons at the bottom of the B-pillar(drivers side) to deactivate the interior alarm (like on the Audi cars)

No face lift. The base price did go up to $57,200 from $56,300 though!

So best to just buy a CPO then? I was holding out for the 06 thinking that the facelift would be worth it. Time to swing by the dealer and see if they still have that CPO TT that was exactly what I wanted.

There are a few 06s in Arizona. One small change I noticed (besides the airbag deactivation button) was they changed the remote to have a seperate button for locking and unlocking... so the remote now has 3 buttons on it instead of 2.

There is also no gas cap release on the 06, it is unlocked with the doors. 06 looks exactly like the 05. I think the face lift comes in 07 now...

I just took delivery of my 06 CS. I ordered it in May with PASM, Pano roof and a few other details. There was no major change between 05 and 06. So far its a very nice vehicle and I am very pleased.

Looking at this thread - and your car list - I'll tell you I went from a 2000 ML 430 to a 2004 CS.

You will be very happy with the upgrade.

Well I am going to the dealer tomorrow to check out the remaining 05 inventory. As long as my sales guys throws a smokin deal my way I will buy, if not then I will keep my ML which I still love. Great truck, relatively problem free, and still under Starmark warranty till next dec (07).

Just ordered (yesterday) an '06 CS (Basalt on Black).

For those who are interested in '06 custom builds, Dealer says it will be a Sept. build with October delivery.

Got lots of goodies including:

Full leather
PCM with 2.1 Satellite Radio
and...many of the other usual goodies.

Solid discount off MSRP for a custom order on current year.

No changes from '05 that I could discern, except the price, which went up about a grand.

I am a little concerned that the '07 refresh could be drastic, but what the heck.
