Angry Why I hate my CT

I've now driven 14000 miles over the past year - and it's time to change for something new and exciting.

I hate this car!

- it eats tires
- it drinks fuel like the village drunk
- and it looks a bit weird

So I'll change for something that does the job better - no problem!

But wait a minute there is a problem

- cos nothing drives like a CT,
- nothing in it's class can handle like it.
- and nothing feels like it
- My God it's fantastic.

I love this car! It's so good to drive. It's so good to live with. It's easy to use and yet puts a big fat grin on my face everyday. And when you find the right bit of road - wow... how it flies! And do you know what? Sometimes when the light catches it just so...I even think it's beautiful,

So where am I ever going to find a car to replace this?

I've been fortunate, no problems to speak of - no lag issues, I love the keyless entry, the PCM and sound system are excellent, the fit and finish is top grade. I have the off road pack with side steps which personally I like. Colour is Arctic (under all the mud) with black leather on the inside.

The steering feel and brakes give you huge confidence on wet and muddy country lanes. There's more than enough space for the kids, the dogs, the groceries and even my mother-in-law!

The air suspension is a real treat - allowing you to switch from the comfortable ride of a luxury car for the bumpy back roads to the sharp and precise turn-ins desired for long sweeping A roads.

So there you have it - I hate my CT because it's so dam good at everything it does. I really don't think, that a single car can replace it. But then you guys know this already. I've been reading the posts on this board for a long time and would just like to say thanks for all those who contribute to it. The info and comment that you share makes owning the CT a much more involving experience.

Thanks to all - enjoy your rides

Does that mean you hate it to death in a good way : )? Sure wish I had a CTT-saw one at Laguna Seca for a few laps-pretty amazing to see a SUV at the track tracking : ). Regards. Mike PS-went to T-Hill towing my GT3 with The CS and wife not there so was planning to give it a few laps but on the way, one of the trailer tires blew and didn't have a spare(at home) so left the CS and trailer in a parking lot unloaded my GT3 and drove up there-it's not fair : (.

Don't forget there is more than one flavor.
