Default Knock sensor alternatives in a pinch

I'm in a bit of a bind with my '04 Turbo. While changing out the large coolant pipe under the manifold, I must have damaged the knock sensor that sits under it (the symptoms and ecu codes point to that fact, along with the fact that I did physically damage the plug-area of the sensor's casing). I've ordered a replacement but really need to drive again before it will arrive. Assuming there's chance one of my local autoparts stores will have a random assortment of Bosch sensors... my question is whether there are other 2-pin Bosch sensors that will send the signal my Cayenne's ECU is looking for.

Thanks in advance for the insights.

Spence

it looks like Porsche used the same sensor for all their models between about 1999-2005, so it can't be too specific (dependent on bore size, etc).

Check with rock auto and see what they offer. I found this on Amazon and I can get it next day:

This is exactly the kind of cross reference I was hoping to find. Thanks!

I'm in the Eastern Sierra in California. One-day Amazon often literally takes 5 days.
