Well, it’s almost here! My Cayenne arrived Saturday morning at the local Porsche dealership fresh from Germany. A little clean-up and final dealer prep and she gets to come home!
If you are interested, here are some preliminary pictures of her out of her “shipping cocoon” but with most of the protective plastic still in place...Click here to view the pictures...
After four months of waiting, she will soon be home with me on Monday!!!

Speaking about colors, saw a Boxster today in the garnett type red. Very pretty color, so now my wife knows what color Boxster she want's, now to get 270 horses out of the 3.2 engine and I will get it for her!

I thought ours had the same build completion date, JFS. I guess not, being as I got mine two weeks ago.
Congrats, it looks nice. Post some more pics when she's all cleaned up.

Congracts on your new toy acquisition!! Looks nice.
I was under the impression that the Cayennes come in a "bag" rather than the white plastic peel away stuff for better protection. Any one knows?

It's both. There are the sticky plastic pieces that are applied to strategic areas of the vehicle for protection and then there is an all-encompassing white car bag that is placed over the Cayenne before it is loaded on the boat for shipment from Germany. You may have seen these car bags on eBay from time to time.
