I was thinking more like $10K below MSRP on an '04 CS in stock, that's 15% less. My dealer has 22 of them lined up and drawing interest payments. Unreasonable?

Remember that the dealer has to receive some benefit from the sale, too. There's not much reason for him to be in business if he's going to give you $10k off.

I suspect that's still profitable at that discount. Plus he gets to gouge me on my other cars in the fleet.

The invoice price on a 70k car is about 61k - moderate to well optioned CS. Since there is no dealer hold back from Porsche the max you can expect is 8K if the dealer is desparate!!!
