E-15 Gas?
Just wondering what the E-15 gas will do to the V-8 engines. (Pro and con) Haven't seen much in the news yet.

Good question. I meant to ask too.
Last time I filled up (with the engine running) I immediately noticed a rougher idle that didn't correct itself.
I attributed it to high ethanol gas and decided not to use BP anymore after that... but this was before any of this E15 business.

If some ethanol is bad, more is worse. This isn't going to be good. Great idea Joe to save 10 cents/gallon.

I've run E15 a few times in my S8 passing through Iowa and Wisconsin over the years. Never had a problem. However I try hard to never store even E10 in a motorcycle or power equipment over the winter due to water absorption and the yellow green snot that forms when it evaporates. E15 will probably be worse in that regard.
I would expect 5% worse mileage vs. E0. There is E0 gas available near me so not too hard to get in my case.

At first I thought Rutgers had a gas station. I actually went to Rutgers... I know they have a farm. Ha. Good link.
Anyway, my experiment I mentioned above wasn't too scientific... I noticed in the past the idle would always turn rough while filling (to those who don't know, we can't pump our own gas in NJ).
I figured it was because the gas from the underground tank was cold and so it threw off the feedback momentarily. But in the past I think it was usually momentary.
Well either way, I'm happy to continue ethanol bashing. I probably won't be able to get away with buying mid-grade anymore, especially with the hot weather coming.
