MY2005 Question from UK newbie
Am currently in the process of specing up a Cayenne V6 and have been scanning the forums to see which options are recommended.
Can someone advise please on situation regarding TV/Video DVD via PCM - is this really likely to be a 2005 model year option?
Secondly is there a Bluetooth phone option available which is integrated with PCM?
Thirdly, any news on other new options available for MY2005 cars
Finally, in which month do Uk dealers begin accepting orders for MY 2005 and from which month does supply generally commence.
TIA for help

UK Model Year 2005 Specification Information
Spoke with Porsche Hatfield and they confirmed that Model Year 2005's will have tailgate power closing as standard and that the PCM will now be DVD based. They also mentioned the availability of a TV tuner option for PCM at an approx cost of £800+VAT
They still don't/weren't able to provide a full MY2005 specification or catalogue particularly in respect of whether bluetooth telephone support would be available.
I'd still appreciate any additional information that other UK owners may have.
thanks

It looks like the TV option is a tuner, only. Unless the tuner has auxilliary RCA inputs, it looks like that option does NOT enable a DVD player.
That option sends video to the rear panel PCM2 video jack and TV audio through the MOST network.
