Default Replacement B Pillar Vents

I'm changing my interior color and am trying to find the B Pillar vents in black. The vents I have are gray and have a part # sticker on them of 7L5.819.209.A.

I can't seem to find the right part # for black ones or where to get them cheap.

Any help would be appreciated.

Perhaps just sand and paint them with satin black? When you take the vents off the small vent tubes in the pillar, be careful not to break the two side tabs and the top tab.

The problem with spraying is that you have to take the vent apart to get it painted correctly. I took one apart, to understand how they go together, and they are a PITA to get back together properly.

I'm hoping there is a way to buy just the vents and not the entire B Pillar panel.

But you still have to take the gray vent out anyway. As you may have done, I used trim tools to dislodge the vent from the fabric on the pillar and pulled the small L-bend vent tube out with the vent cover. Then getting to the tabs was easy. When I put the pieces back in I slid the vent and tube in diagonally then rotated down to fit in the long tube in B-pillar. No leakage on either side.

If you have 4-zone I think the p/n’s you want are: 955 555 209 00 6N3 , 955 555 210 00 6N3
No a/c controls in back: 955 555 216 00 6N3 , 955 555 215 00 6N3 ... and I believe these are the louvered slider vents. $300+

I believe the plain vents are: 955 555 297 00 01C , 955 555 298 00 01C for satin black. About $6

...from the PET

Oh, I already have the pillar panels off and the vents out. I'm going to work on painting them but would like to find a part # and source for the vents should things not go as planned with painting

I've already redone the headliner and A Pillar panels. The B Pillar is now on the list as a I look to finish the top half of the interior off. The seats will be my next project after this all gets done.

Now what you should clearly do, is want them in Alcantara, which I happen to have a spare set of... by which I mean please buy them because the car I bought them for is gone :-P. Also you'd get black vents that way and not spend 300 dollars...Barring that, while it's not perfect, the plasticoat pain does a reasonable job bonding to the surface and gives the appearance of that rubberized coating on the plastic. I added a center sun visor and use it cover the original gray color. Yes I recognize the weakness in plasticoat is that it can be easily removed, but if it's a hard to access area and not super likely to be struck, it works.
