2009 GTS Reverse Camera Works for a split second
Hello;
When I bought my '09 GTS the backup camera didn't work. The camera extended but there was no image. I found a replacement from an '06 Turbo for a good price, it was promised as working. I swapped in the complete mechanism and now the camera extends but there is only an image for a split second and then it's back to nothing.
Previously a Porsche specialist diagnosed the old camera as defective and recommended replacement but the PO declined the repair. What other things could cause the image to appear initially and then disappear quickly?
