I need a license plate light, complete with pigtails for the tail gate wiring - both sides of connector. My light failed because the connector prong rusted away. Thanks

@Avec , sorry bud too late, I was at the junkyard already at this point.
Not a great day yall, these junkyards were crap. I got a few odds and ends but wasn't able to get 95% of the stuff we all needed, sorry. I'll be in touch over the next few days for the few of you I got stuff for and update the thread.

OP, nice offer - kudos.
nodoors, I think I have a spare driver's side mirror from a 957 Turbo S. Can't see that I'll need it. Looks like the going rate on eBay is $130 plus shipping.
I think it's just the housing - no glass, but will need to go look.
How's $140 shipped, unless you'll be down near Clemson soon, and then I'll do $125 for pick-up.

OP, thanks for trying. I am sure there will be more of these cars hitting the yards as winter gets colder and more borescoring happens!

I don't know if the 955 and 957 have the same mirrors. With the facelift, I'm thinking they may not, but don't know for sure. I'ts pearl white like my car, so a non-standard Porsche color. The mirror head wasn't as tight as the other side so the body shop doing the widebody kit bought another mirror and painted it. I kept this other one as a spare but can't see that I'll need it.

I will document the install of the 955 tow module when I install. Right now it's in an electrolysis bath to remove rust/repaint
But here is a picture that shows where the tow contoller is and no you cannot do what you need to just removing the CD changer panel
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...led-440-a.html
Also don't get too caught up on the controller or getting the right model year. All models after 2003 should have tow package prep already. You shouldn't need to yank it out at the pick and pull and you may not need to remove that whole panel to plug it in. Need to see how easy the "post sale installation" (Black under my fingernails in photo from painting one side)

That sounds about right to me. I can mail a DHL letter in 48hrs to US for 10dollars, so ball park is right. My risk on the outcome. If it goes south, I'll make sure you arent left out of pocket! :-)

I'm headed to a couple salvage yards on Monday to grab a few parts for my 955. The junkyards I'm going to have four 955s between them, but I don't know the engines/trim/condition/etc. Anyone need anything while I'm going? Also, any suggestions on spare parts I should grab while I'm there to keep on hand? Let me know if you need something and I'll keep a list. If you'll be in the VA area at some point, I'm happy to hold parts or ship parts, whatever you need. Just thought I'd throw the offer out there. Thanks.

Alright, I have officially responded to everyone I was able to get parts for. If you didn't get a pm from me this evening then I wasn't able to get what you needed. This junkyard was especially junky and I will not be going back unless I get desperate. All the loader operators crunch all the body panels in on the vehicles as they pick the cars up and move them around, the cars are sitting straight on the axles so you can't get to any brake, suspension, steering, or transmission parts, there's mud and water everywhere 2-3 inches deep, and the junkyard takes most common and important parts off before setting them out in the yard. All that to say, if it wasn't for the really nice weather outside and the spare tire I picked up for my 955, it would've been a waste of a day. Anyway, thanks for all your requests, I'm sorry I couldn't help everyone out.

Came across this a few days ago. Not far from my place. Turns out it had the factory tow module, harness, and connector so I'm getting that for my 955 for $80, not too bad. I can run back over there and pick up something if anyone needs anything. Feel free to contact this guy directly or let me know what you need and I can run over there and get it and ship it too. Just wanted to throw it out there and offer to help out.
