And while you are in there - change out your headlight harness. Mine on both sides were ridiculous, most of the insulation was crumbling off. Maybe a phantom dipped headlight warning???

Good thread - didnt check pelican, but had the same. Just got second hand parts from another car. Worth while doing.

Something we'll each deal with eventually. I realized mine were bad in the process of replacing a dead bulb last year. Ended up just replacing all bulbs and both pigtails. Not expensive.

I just replaced mine. I also went inside the headlight. Same issues with insulation. I used heatshrink to stop the wires shorting out.

Inspect the contacts for the turn signal bulb holder while you have the headlamp out and clean them up. They have a habit of wearing or arcing through and then you may be stuck with replacing the entire assembly.
