Breather pipe failure

Breather pipe failure
Just an FYI - for a while my CTTS has been a bit lumpy at idle and low speeds. No misfires, just not very smooth.
The CEL came on the other week and it was diagnosed as a damaged breather pipe.
After a trip to the garage, the car is running much happier now.
I haven't seen this issue reported here before, so I thought I'd share. Especially as this was obviously an issue with the car for quite a while before the CEL came on.

Was it the AOS breather or the turbo oil scavenge breather hoses? The hose for the AOS and associated diaphragm cause rougher running and the ‘t’ at the back of the engine, plus the hoses connecting there are known to fail with your symptoms. There are numerous threads on this forum describing the issues.

Didn’t realise it was widely discussed- apologies.

Not at all. Just letting you know there are several vacuum leak points on the car and it’s good for you to know. Some you can fix with a part and 10 minutes, some at the back...not so much. Also lets your shop know you have an idea of what they should be looking for/repairing.
