Power Stop Brake and Rotors for 957 GTS 2008
Has anyone replaced their Brakes and Rotors by Power Stop? https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...440078&jsn=394

I used a company called Alretta trucking. http://www.alretta.com/clubtouaregro...fer/index.html
The entire kit which is the same as OEM, comes with front & rear rotors, pads, sensors and clips for just under $700. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. He also has non OEM pads that will put off less brake dust as an option.
I am very happy with the brakes I received and installed on my TransSyberia.

Thanks Blagave, I like the Drilled rotors look. Not sure if that's good or bad for heavy tank like the PIG. The previous owner installed Drilled Rotors on the GTS currently but I'm not sure what brand they are. That's why I'm asking if anyone out there has tried the Power Stop setup.

For iron rotors, slotted is structurally better than drilled with similar benefits allows gasses and water an egress route and keeps the pad material surface fresh).
Drilled rotors can develop cracks between the holes and the rotor can fragment. They do cool a little better because of the increased surface area from the holes, but the removal of that material also reduces the heat sink capability so essentially a wash.

I used EBC yellows with slotted EBC rotors on the Cayenne Turbo. We towed a 24' camper 4600 miles to Banff and all through the mountains without issue.
That being said, when I was shopping for new brakes for my daily driver GMC Sierra, a friend recommended the PowerStop Z36 "towing" brakes . He uses them on his Tundra that pulls a rock-crawler 4runner. I think drilled AND slotted rotors look cheesy AF but they were a lot less expensive than the EBCs. I installed them on my truck and have to say I was very impressed with how different they perform compared to my OEM rotors and GM ceramic pads.
The link you provided contradicts itself, but I believe the available Z23 brakes are just ceramic. I think they'll be quiet and low dust but probably not perform that great.

I currently have the PowerStop rotors on my 2006 S.
I had bought the kit that included the rotors/pads/sensors. I found the pads were dusty and didn't seem to hold the greatest, When due for new pads, I went with a set of Munro pads from Rock Auto. They are amazing - literally zero dust (my calipers are always clean) and amazing stopping power.

Thanks for the update. I haven't been online for a bit. I haven't pulled the trigger yet. So I'll definitely look into more options from the posts above. Thanks again.
