Default Just bought my first Porsche, just saying hello to the community!

Hey guys, I just bought my first Porsche. It is a 2009 Porsche Cayenne with 13k miles. Love it so far! Any cool threads I should start at?

Welcome.
Read the stickies.
Don't read the cylinder scoring thread.
Enjoy.

Welcome to the madness, says a relative newbie. Your mileage is insanely low, way to go. When I first started here I was introduced to this thread. Don’t let it scare you since I understand many people have pretty bulletproof rides. The first thing you may want to do is clean the rain drains to make sure you don’t get any nasty surprises down the road. I pulled the ends off mine to prevent any clogging. Have fun!

Thank you. I have looked at the stickies. Seems like the 2009 is pretty solid. Am I right?

Thank you! Any way you can send me a picture of what you pulled off to prevent clogging? Thanks!

This is the how-to located in the very valuable DIY Forum https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...clean-out.html
you May need to tap or click on the image to see the cardinals hat.

This is what they look like Should have put a quarter next to it for reference The base is 1 5/8” across. There is a thread somewhere on accessing them under the fender liners

Is the cylinder scoring issue for V8s or V6s? This is a base Cayenne V6 AWD. Thanks for the info!
