My most dreaded day has come. But it wasn’t so bad.

But now its home in the garage, and I am setting up to remove the intake manifold and see what the damage is. Hopefully I'll be able to get replacement parts in soon. I should order the manifold gaskets now too I guess.

Wow, sorry to hear that! Yeah my experience was a delight compared to yours.
Hope you fix and keep it, this board needs more nice folks to counter the trolls that are really a bit surprising among what I would have thought was a close-knit group.
Apologies for not posting my summary yet... I'm in Italy for work and haven't had a chance.
I almost don't want to give these folks a plug since I think they're a bit pricey and overcharge for USPS shipping but anyway... here is the link:

If you read through the page you'll see where they say, "Porsche Cayenne Turbo aluminum replacement hose tee, which typically uses the 3/4" x 3/4" and a 1" x 5//8" hose tee."
This is correct. The A-Z link mentions a slightly different size for the 5/8 but it's 5/8 and I won't nit pick.
Here is a pic of my tees:
To get the hoses, which you might as well change in the process, you have to order pre-assembled hoses and plastic tees.
They come as one Porsche part number each, and look like the pic above but with plastic tees.
Getting the hoses off is not trivial at all since they are clamped with crimped bands.
The trick is to liberate the hoses from the plastic without damaging them.
If I can, I'll post pics on how I did this tomorrow..
Anyway, best of luck. ttyl

I'm in for the duration, and the LULZ!
I must admit, this is my favorite thread on Rennlist right now. It also made me remember why I prefer Popeye's. I find this quite amusing. I also feel like your all being trolled.
Keep up the good work TheSteve!

All of this talk about T's makes me wonder, when Porsche replaced my pipes a while back, did they do the T's as well??? Anyone know if that's part of the coolant pipe replacement routine at Porsche?
