The DME can take hours literally to reprogram, the manual says run the engine and don't turn it of until complete, that not using Durametric that's factory stuff.

Durametric can't advise me why it did what it did. Will keep everyone posted that's interested.
I think I will need to drive it for a ways to get it adapted. It restarted today, a touch hard to start again, and then smoothed out. Doing another wierd thing - add throttle to say 2500 and hold pedal in exactly the same place, rpms drop to about 1500 k over 10 seconds without releasing pedal. This feels to me like a throttle adaptation.
