As a new Cayenne owner, I'd love to hardwire my radar detector into the upper console by the rearview mirror. I was able to do this in my Range Rover with some instructions I found online.

Has anybody done this with a Cayenne such that they could tell me which wires to grab? I've done a search and haven't had much luck.

I did it on my 09, but don't recall which wire I tapped into. Just used my meter to find a switched 12v one in the overhead console and ran it down, then attached the Escort Max360 with a Blendmount mirror mount - works great, as does this particular detector. Similar directional arrows to the V1 in my other car, but with less falsing, even though the Junk filter is on in my v1.
