Default 2009 Squeaky ac blower motor. Is it same as Toureg and Q7 for PN/procedure?

I saw video clips online of those models and how to replace through glove box. Is it the same for the 2009 Cayenne?

When climate control is on, was squeaky, now moans a lot. What's been your experiences on this one? Thanks

Also, if you don't mind laying on your back for about 20 minutes and contorting your body, you can definitely replace it without pulling the glovebox.

Thanks. I've ordered the part and will try to replace this weekend.

Can someone point to the DIY article and P/N to order? I'm experiencing the same growl on 2008 Cayenne GTS, interestingly, gets worse if I turn to the right while moving slow. And only really makes noises when speeds 1-3. Higher blower speeds and noise goes away.

There is a forum search. It will greatly benefit you to learn how to use it.

I ordered my part from Pelican and they had a DIY article right on their site. It was a bit more specific than the Toureg videos on YouTube and the Q7 clips, too.
Part arrives Thursday, so will report back.

‘‘Twas the blower motor. Old original Vw branded part was not noisy to spin by hand, so who knows. Perhaps w electric resistance?
anyways, got new part from Pelican for $110, fixed. AC is ice cold again.

Job took about 40 minutes, including road test. Done ✅
