I recently did all the lamps. order enough to do glove box, center box, ...all the lamps.
I have some extras that fit the mirrors and maybe the overhead , but too long for the enclosed casing

The gas filler flap switch decided to stop working so I looked for the emergency release in the trunk to make sure I had a way to fill up while sorting out the switch; pulled the rubber strap and the damn thing got detached broken. No switch and no manual release
Upon disassembly and inspection of the switches (the trunk lid release was not working either) I found the circuit boards corroded and their tracks missing meaning new switches are required, Luckily the black 2004 CS donor car is still around and got the workshop manager to remove them for me.
I ordered a new manual release strap and while waiting for confirmation of the robbed switches I managed to pop the flap open jumping two sockets in the connector.

I have an 08 CTT.
I've installed some HHR secondary cat by-pass w/ resonators 3" piping last night. Install was pretty straight forward. Only issue I had was the stock secondary cat on the passenger side. The very top nut was very hard to reach. After much tinkering and some swivel head ratchet action, I got it off in about 30-45 mins. Overall about a 2 hour I love the deep growl it gives now paired with my Tubi Exhaust.
Within the next couple weeks, I'll be installing my IE81 power performance intake manifold along with an IPD Plenum made for the 82mm throttle body for the Turbo S manifold.

It also sounds like you had the tubi installed before the HHR. What changes are you noticing
Those were two items i was/am considering. Either individually or together, but you may just sell me on both at same time.
You also gave you hope that i could install HHR. After visiting hte shop and getting quoted 3hr labor i'm debating if it's worth it

Sure thing! I'll have to do it when the rain stops.
I did have the Tubi installed before the HHR. It sounded great the way it was but I wanted more of an aggressive bark. The 3" bypass definitely helps with making it a deeper sound. It gave a thunder-like sound when I revved it to 4k rpm's at my work parking garage. I'm hoping to actually do a full WOT test to actually experience it. I wanted the car to adapt to the HHR in a couple days first.

Finished all the LED change over. I need to get some different brand bulbs because the cheapo LEDs make blue sparklies all over the interior in the front overhead lights. Or maybe I just need a lil diffuser up there. rear is darker due to the smoked glass of course

I replaced both front suspention level sensors arms. All-year high temperatures for many years destroyed the rubber on the ball joints and they were coming off its place from time to time, bringing the front suspension full down.
Here´s what they looked like: the rubber parts are almost gone:
Luckily I found a seller in Ebay willing to ship the arms only -front and rear set - over Qatar.
Here´s a rear one after cleaning and rubber treatment. I hope they last long time:
After installation, some level adjustments via VCDS and good to go.

Wouldn't it be better to just unclip the electrical plug from the vacuum solenoid to save the wear on it if you ever want to reconnect it. This is what we do in the 997s with PSE when we want the exhaust to be in sport mode all the time. It's not a monitored circuit, so no error codes.
