Default My PCM (radio) defaults to off after every trip

Hi, I'm not sure if this is some kind of bug specific to my PCM but every time I get in to drive, I have to turn on the radio and wait for it to "warm up." lol
I've looked at the manual and I've set the default menu to Main and Last Setting and tried other things to no avail.
Any thoughts? Thanks,
-Steve

Check the fuses for the PCM. There should be more than 1. One of the power leads to it should have continuous power - so the PCM can retain settings between vehicle power cycles. If that fuse has gone - chances are the PCM will behave as you describe,

BTW - a bit of info on year/model of your Cayenne can be helpful when asking for technical help..

Realized I left off my vehicle info as I hit submit.
I checked all the fuses on the left side of the dash when I was troubleshooting my horn last week. I think that's where my manual is pointing me to look for radio fuses...
I'll keep the idea in mind, though.
Any idea why the clock at the bottom of my PCM insists on reading military time? (The one in the cluster shows 12H time, which is how I have it set up in the PCM.
2003 turbo.
Maybe this is just the way Porsche wants it?
Thanks.

I believe the 2003-2004 Bose SAT/NAV PCMs default to OFF at every engine shutdown. How inconvenient is it to just hit the ON button?

Very.
I usually drive a while alone with my thoughts before i realize there’s no tunes.
My volume **** is missing the snap ring thing in it so pushing it doesn’t do anything.
I have to find the eject button which turns on the system. After the Porsche logo and 45 seconds or so, the radio comes on and I’ve missed half of my favorite song, of course.

Also not a fan of that delayed fade out / fade in between presets that the designers were so proud of back when DSP was brand new.
I wonder how many days of my life will be wasted waiting for the song I hate to gradually fade out before I give the next station a try.

This may or may not apply to you, but my '04 manual has a misprint for the fuse section. Both diagrams state it's for the left side, and to make it more confusing, each diagram is on a different page.

Thanks everyone.
Let me know if anyone finds a source for the ***** without the Porsche tax. I saw the ones for $35.
