Default Crankcase ventilation

Noobie question:

The positive crankcase ventilation line between the two cylinder banks has a thin plastic line going to the rear of the engine, but in my case not connected to anything.
Is that right or is it supposed to be connected to something ?

So far i have not found anything to connect it to.

Yes that is supposed to be connected at a "T" directly behind intake manifold. That line helps the breather system scavenge the oil sumps for the turbos. Its very common to break but its pretty uncommon that it actually shows up as a vacuum leak or causes a check engine light. Either way if it were mine I would replace it or at the very least cap it off.
