Unfortunately the P1025 is back, just after few days, I had the car re-tested and in spite of the car driving great, I discover the pump leaks oil form its diaphragm and PIWIS tester showed pressure lower than required for proper operation, as the pressure went to 0.69 for first two ranges which were set to 1.0 via the adaption (The Porsche range is 1.25 - 0.75) therefore triggering code P1025 again.
I had the seller send me a replacement, the second unit was total garbage where the car ran super rough instantly triggering P1026 and P1025. SO THIS ONE IS A GAMBLE, PLEASE BE AWARE. It worked for many, not for me. I am returning both of these and my replacement is coming from SONNEN Porsche early next week.

Rossi - you probably are becoming quite adapt at swapping them.. perhaps you might take a few photos for the next swap out. I'm sure you've learned some tricks that would be useful to others..

I wish it was all sorted. I swapped it 4x now, hopefully just one more time.

UPDATE: I seem to have few issues with this HPFP. I would NO LONGER recommend it. (In spite of about 80 people bought this unit with no complaints.)

I need the car for work tomorrow. So I swap it back to the other one, car starts instantly, drives smoothly, totally great, get a P1025 after two starts. But really no issues. Is it possible that I got another bad pump? I am about to loose it. Any thoughts?

UPDATE: I cannot believe what is going on with my GTS, Installed the "Factory rebuilt" HPFP unit from SONNEN Porsche today. Delayed start, super rough drive, total crap, nearly instantly triggering P1026 and P1025. WTFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!! How is this happening????

I spoke with the Porsche specialist, he believes, there is an excellent chance that the HPFP (the fist one from eBay) pushed the pressure numbers so low that the other two HPFPs, (especially the one from Porsche) might not run correctly unless the adaption is reset again, as the pressure went to 0.69 for first two ranges which were set to 1.0 via the adaption (The Porsche range is 1.25 - 0.75)
He said, I should try to let the car to idle for about 20 minutes, then drive it for 5-10 miles. It might adjust itself and recover. I don't know, I guess worth a try.

So are you sure yet that it was the first faulty ebay pump that caused the issue? I see they have a three year warranty listed on ebay and 100% satisfaction guaranteed.

The first one I got from eBay was running well, however after about 50 miles I got code P1025. After testing via PIWIS we discovered the first two pressure ranges went down to 0.69 from 1.0 which was set by the adaption.
As far as the eBay seller, he send me a replacement, no questions asked, I installed the replacement one, but I had a bad rough drive, delayed start, P1026 and P1025 instantly. So I swapped back. Another go and same thing happened when I installed the Porsche one. After speaking with the Porsche specialist, he believes, because of the drop in pressure by the first eBay pump, it probably affects the performance of the other fuel pumps as I did not perform the adaption after each swap. I make sense as the ECU runs on the lowered numbers and it takes an extended drive or the proper adaption via PIWIS to set it right.
As far as the EBay seller, I received a refund, no problems there. However, if the first HPFP was OK, I would most likely saved $300 for all the testing and the first adaption I went for after triggering P1025. It is not guaranteed that everything is going to be OK, I am willing to give it one more shot.
I will report back as it seems as our cars are getting older, many can benefit from the outcome of this.

UPDATE: I re-installed the Porsche unit I got from SONNEN, warmed up the car for 20minuted, I drove about 50 Miles with no improvement, it really drove like crap. Went to see my mechanic, he plugged in his scanner, the first two fuel ranges still at 0.69, P1026 and P1025 live and well :-))) no change in pressure values. Whaaaat!!!
So, I drove another 50 miles to my Porsche specialist to have him perform another adoption. Interestingly, it took him three attempts to reset it. (All five ranges back to 1.0) It seems like the ECU was stubborn, almost as the values were stuck, like being in the permanent mode. I guess I drove too long on the faulty eBay HPFP, just my guess. After he reset it, I had to take the car for short drive (3 miles), I was suppose to reach 45-50mph for at least 15 seconds to complete the adaption. When I came back, he plugged in the PIWIS tester again, first two values went actually up from 1.0
No charge for the adaption from him this time. The car drives great, no codes. All good, fingers crossed.
I will give it few days before my victory dance. If any problems come back, I will report back here. Hopefully all set and done for now.

Well as much as I was convinced that I needed a HPFP, it actually turned out to be just a bad battery.
I did end up replacing some cracked coilpacks dating back to 2006 though, as well as plugs while I was there.
Rossi I hope everything has been working out for your situation.

Hi Vtgt, happy to hear you got it sorted.
All great with me, the car drives awesome. No problems anymore.
If anyone has a delayed start which is typically the first sign of HPFP going, my advice is take care of it. My GTS runs like it has 50 more horsepower, better than ever. I almost forgot that is is a 405hp truck. World of difference.
