Default What type of turbochargers should I use on my 4.5L V8 Porsche Cayenne Turbo engine?

I have a 4.5l V8 2003 Porsche cayenne Turbo engine without any turbochargers in it. I can build my own intake manifold and exhaust I just need to know the most hp I can get for a reasonable price. Thanks.

You want to boost a naturally aspirated engine? (from a Cayenne S) Have you seen how much room is underneath the hood?

If so, you'll be better off just selling the existing engine and getting a turbo engine off ebay or a dismantler.

And to answer your original question, the turbos are VF43 IHI units.

I am doing a engine transfer along with a transmission transfer to a different vehicle. The amount of room is not a factor. And also the engine is a turbo engine (2003 Porsche Cayenne Turbo), but the turbochargers are missing. I guess my question is, are there more powerful/better turbochargers that I could purchase to get more horsepower out of the engine?

I believe the Turbo engines have a lower compression ratio. So a turbo engine without the Turbos will make less hp than the naturally aspirated engines. I would recommend finding some Turbos to install.
