So, I had the question of whether the EXT would work with the Cayenne from front to back as shown in the mystery picture above. I could never find out on the Internet, but now I know based on real-life experience that it still doesn't and figured I'd report on here since this is one of the top Google returns when researching this.

*But* I will say that with the SUV kit going side to side it's really not that bad and way better than doing the floor-jack/jackstand shuffle. There is still some crawling around getting everything on the lift points (a little more effort side to side as you have to go around the other side) but I don't regret the purchase as it will save me a lot of time and pain on my abused body.

I was wondering how the black Cayenne was lifted "long ways" and I'm suspecting it may be the extenders they released a little while ago that quickly went out of stock and haven't been back in again yet. But honestly, I'll probably just do side to side on the Cayenne unless I get some outrageously great deal on the extenders.

Some guy in the 928 forum made a pair of extenders for himself with box beams and hockey pucks. Looks cheap and sturdy.
