it went to a good home actually to a friend.. I did not drive it that much since getting the 991 and with my son unable to ride in the front seat

Wow that is low mileage...How much did you sell it for. I just bought a Boxster for my son with a blown engine from an IMS failure at 102k Miles. I also bought an engine with 55K to put in it. I will do an LN upgrade before I do. I would suggest your friend do that with the garage queen which is real prone to failure.

we did the IMS a couple of years ago! Ya it was a queen it had never seen been driven in rain hell even a foggy day! LOL I ended up selling it for 16500$ I was just glad it went to a good home

Ya I love the 991 had it now for couple years and with a back seat and an 8yo it just works out better when its dad and son time
