Default Changing Spark Plugs on a 2010, 987.2

Unless you have a lift or hands the size of a 12 year old's. Don't even try. Without being able to get under the car, the forward 2 plugs are almost completely inaccessible.

If the car was on a lift i could've come at them from a different angle and been able to get at the screws that hold the coil packs in. I only have 1 jack and was not willing to trust it enough to get completely under the car (i hope the RennStands will be available soon!)

I was however to get the new brake lines on the car. I have put these on all my motorcycles and my last car. Probably one of the best improvements you can do to your car for the lease amount of money.

A Lift for Christmas?
The hand size comment- you also need long heat resistant gloves if the headers are still hot.

Very nice lift but that doesn't really help me and it doesn't appear that you can stand up underneath it.....

Yes you can. You need to visit Garage Journal- lots of alternatives..
Ramps or tall jack stand alternatives and various lifts have been extensively discussed recently -see Search - many options -even some diy ,cheapo ones.

Nice brake lines, but most of all - very nice metric crescent wrench!

Byprodriver, i fail to see how reading the manual would have helped me in changing the spark plugs. I was only able to work with what i had. If I had been able to get my car on a lift, I could have been able to get under the car to get at all the plugs and change them and still would not have needed a manual.
