Default Front sway bar thickness

I'd like to replace sway bar bushings as they seem to be a bit loose...

I was able to measure the rear sway bar thickness (19mm), but the front one is properly hidden away with covers - and I wasn't able to lift the front enough...

Is it safe to assume that since the rear sway bar is the smallest diameter available, the front one would be the smallest one (24.5mm) too?

Thanks, Danilo

it depends. manual or automatic transmission? 986 or 986S? M030 or standard suspension?

a standard 986 with a manual transmission is:
Front: 23.1 mm diameter, 3.4 mm thick
Rear: 18.5 mm diameter, 2.5 mm thick

I was able to measure my front sway bar by taking the front wheel off.

It's a 2000 Boxster (986) with 2.7L engine, TipTronic automatic gearbox and (as far as I know) standard suspension.

a standard 986 with a manual transmission is:
Front: 23.1 mm diameter, 3.4 mm thick
Rear: 18.5 mm diameter, 2.5 mm thick
Thanks.

23.1mm is the correct thickness for your car.
