Default Swap SRT6 Roadster for Boxster w/bad engine

I'd be interested in trading my Chrysler Crossfire SRT6 Roadster for a 2000 or 2001 Boxster S with bad engine plus cash.
Email essjayarr@comcast.net to swap phone numbers if interested. I'm in Massachusetts.

I would sell your car out right. The SRT6's are somewhat desirable.

Looks like I,ll be holding onto the SRT6. I was considering doing an LS3 swap into a Boxster S.
I've recently got into the que to have Flat6 Innovations do a Stage1 rebuild on my 996. I've stopped driving the 996, so the SRT6 will see much more road time.

Personally I think you will like the flat 6 stuff, but you'll regret it if you ever run across an LS3 car
It's all about what you want and I wanted insane. I don't know what a flat 6 motor build costs but i'm sure you are close in price all said and done.

I just don't see spending that much money to get and extra 100 horsepower. Go big or go home.
$.02

Edit to add - I've built and have an LS3 Boxster. It's freakin' awesome, best car I've ever had.

This thread is going a little off track, but there wasn't much traffic anyway.
For me an LS3 conversion would be an addition to the 996/flat six. My thought was to maybe replace the SRT6 Roadster with another convertible.
I've always been into engine conversions and have done 5 to date and working on my 6th. This one a Subaru 6 cylinder into a '90 VW Multivan.

I've followed several 996 and 986 LS builds and have spoken to Renegade a few times. The cost of an LS3 into a Boxster or 996 when done right with new parts would be much more $$ in parts alone than a Flat6Innovations Stage 1 rebuild. Factor in your own labor hours and the gap widens.
As I see it, a conversion is not an alternative to a quality rebuild for a broken car. It is a choice for a entirely different end product. Which would be AWESOME!!

What is a stage 1 rebuild, basically stock? Few mods? Definitely does not compare to LS by any means and still probably set you back $10K or better

Renegades stuff is overpriced anyway. I'm certain if someone was motivated enough they could produce a better and more complete offering then Renegade does.
