Default New (ish) Boxster owner!

So, I'm new here, though I've been lurking for a couple months. I bought a 97 Boxster over the summer when i found one for an unbelievable price. Of course, I was lured by the price enough to ignore the little voice in my head saying "cheap=$$ in the long run". Sure enough, the clutch went about 4 hours after I signed the papers, and then 3 weeks later, the fuel pump went. Lesson learned.

That aside, It's a terrific car!

This site seems like a really good resource. I've had 2 944s(still have one) before the Boxster, and I'm not sure why I never wandered over to this site!

Figured I'd Trow a pic up while I'm at it.

Welcome! I'm a Boxster newbie also. I love that color - you don't see that often. Well, at least you now have a new clutch

Thanks guys! Since I got it toward the end of summer, and it spent 2 weeks in the shop for the clutch, and then another 2 weeks when the fuel pump went...I'm having a really hard time facing that I need to put it away for the winter. I really wish I would have found it in May or June.

You don't have to put it away, you can look for snow wheel and tires like I'm doing

It isnt so much the snow here, It's the massive pot holes that pop up in january and february..
