Default Wheel paint?

I purchased a set of OEM 18 inch C3 lightweight wheels for my Boxster, and the left rear has a small amount of rash. I'd prefer to lightly sand the affected area and touch it up rather than have the entire wheel painted. I've never been happy with a repaired/painted wheel.

I've also tried the Wurth paint, and it sucks. Is there an alternative?

Is the correct color available, or will I need a custom mix?

Wurth Silver Lacquer Paint (available here: http://www.autovisuals.com/webcartne...=AutoSharp+Pen) supposedly is a match, but I have no personal experience using the product.

As for wheel refurbishment/repair, the quality of such is very much dependent on the skill set of the repair shop. If you want your wheel refurbished to perfection, contact Dave or Alan at Wheel Enhancement (see http://www.wheelenhancement.com/index.php). They are Porsche wheel specialists and do top notch work. Highly recommended.
