I just sold my modified Elise(1,460lbs 305 S/C hp) and may go with the Spyder. I got tired of the poor build quality on the Elise.
Thanks for the photos of your extreme Elise!

One of the '10 Boxster Spyders was at a Hooked On Driving Laguna Seca track day on Monday Dec 14 before it was to be shipped back to Germany. David Ray took it and a Cayman S for several hot laps during lunch (he had the track to himself), and by my stopwatch turned a 1:43.1 in the Boxster Spyder 6-speed, 1:44.2 in the Cayman S with PDK (3 seconds faster then the recent Motor Trend times). It really looked and sounded sharp, and from the hot pits we could hear David running through the gears and sliding it through the corkscrew, 9, 10, and 11. I can't wait to see if they do this to the Cayman next!
