Default Code P0102, "MASS OR VOLUME CIRCUIT LOW INPUT"

I got a code P0102, 99 Boxster What is " MASS OR VOLUME CIRCUIT LOW INPUT", should i stop driving before i have it checked out, Thank You.

My Porsche OBD II references at home so I can't look up error to see what it means, exactly.

Generally speaking if the CEL is not flashing you can continue to drive the car. However, emissions might be higher, fuel economy worse, and performance down a bit.

Even if CEL not flashing though if the engine exhibits any other untoward behavior best to shut it off and arrange to get car to a qualified shop for diagnosis and repair vs. continuing to drive the car and possibly do damage to engine.

Short in wiring harness between MAF and ECU. OK to drive short distance.
Mice? Abraded wire? Connection?
