Hi guys, I"ve been lurking from the 928 forum and am an ex boxster owner. Love them. I'm still thinking an STI conversion to an early boxster. I've seen 97-98's for as little as 4500 now with blown motors. I'd transfer the entire engine, transmission, ecu out of the donor STI. No tranny or clutch problems to sort out with mismatched components. They're doing it in 914's already so I'd think its only a matter of time for the boxster. 300 reliable Hp, plus a few mods could get you 350-400 easily. yeah, its a job for the fabricator/DIY kind of person, but it would be a very potent machine. No offense for the purists in here. Just speculating.

Yeap... what's lurking underneath is an exhaust that's not centered... Am I the only one that noticed that?

I don't think anyone would notice that as the car blows past them.

Rarely have I seen ANY aftermarket exhaust that lines up perfectly.

1) I have an '03 986 with a 2.7 and may be interested....where can I find out some more ? Cost, etc..?

2) The side badges - are they modified boot lid badges or something else. If something else, where did you get them ? Been thinking about doing that same treatment.
