Aftermarket Exhausts. Sport or Race?
Hi
Im trying to decide on a Sport Exhaust or a Race Exhaust and could use some help. I drive a boxster S and use it 90% on the track yet I drive it to and from the track (typically long drives in heavy metropolitan traffic). The other 10% is the occasional weekend. I would really like a race exhaust but do not want to have a massive migraine by the time i arrive at a track. Opinions greatly appreciated.
Also has anyone insatlled Stebro racing exhaust?
Thanks
Kim

The one person I've read about who put on a Stebro race version had to replace it with the sport version because they couldn't stand the drone. That person, however, used it for the street. I guess you could wear earplugs on the way to the track.

Beware
Make darn sure that the exhaust you buy actually gives better results than the stock exhaust. The reason I say that is because I know someone with a dyno who did tests of about 6 exhausts and he was shocked at how many (5) gave HP/Torque results that were less than the stock. In fact the car he was planning to upgrade went back to its owner with the stock exhaust.
