Hi guys,

Long time no post (used to be active in the 951 forum before) ... question, I've got myself a '00 986 S euro spec, with factory sport seats. I'm looking to fit my old recaro pole position seats from my 951 into this Boxster, but I'm worried if there will be any issues with the airbag light.

Has anyone fitted non-factory seats to their early Boxsters? Did anything come up, or is it safe to go with just disconnecting the battery before touching anything?

Tried searching but didn't really come up with anything conclusive, unfortunately...

Ron Zitza's shop, Zotz racing, put GT3 seats in my 02 986S and I have no airbag problems. Obviously you are in Finland so it would be a long commute, but perhaps you could contact them for advise. http://www.zotzracing.com/
