New to Rennlist from Houston Tx
Just found this site and wanted to introduce myself to my fellow Pcar owners. I have a 2005 Boxster S 6 Speed in Speed Yellow with black interior and top. Great car and want to learn more about it. I live in Houston and would love to get involved with the local Pcar guys as well.

Funny thing was i was on vacation when it decided to hit Houston . Currently waiting to drive back home and see what's left . The only good thing is my baby is with me .
Pictures are in my home computer so we will see what's left when I get there.
If you know Houston this is going to be bad before it's all said and done . Good Luck to those that are there .

Took her to Gulf Shores Alabama . White sandy beaches .. The surf just got to bad and started to come across the Island . I left Thursday and ran up to relatives in Mississippi . Now it's just wait and see when I can go home . Gulf Shores doesn't have the night life Panama City/Walton Beach does just in case your looking for a vacation spot .

Houston isn't looking too good! Much better of then Galveston though. I hope you find a pleasant surprise on your return.
I am on the East side near Flower Mound. Are you familiar with this area?

I'm on the North West side , and like most folks in Houston I rarely get to the other side . Thinking that I will try to make it back home on Monday . But who knows what will be open or ready to be opened .

You are probably getting anxious not knowing, it sure would be easy to wonder what Ike left. Make sure there is gas enough to get there! I heard talk about low quantities, but all seems good here in North Texas.

The pix of the storm damage look really bad, so I would stash a 5 gallon can full in the car. After Katrina and Wilma hit S. Florida in '05, there was a week or so of long gas lines, more because of lack of power than lack of gas.
Hope you guys made out ok in the storm. We are still waiting on reports from friends we have in Houston.

OK leaving in the morning , If you get this message in time let me know if I need to run someone down .
As far as getting there I'm heading over on 20 so it's good to know that there is gas up there .
Neighbor told me that we had power so at least that's something . I will try to check my mail when i get in Tuesday night to see if there is anything that I can do to chase any body down .

I'm Dean...Dennis's much better looking brother. He is home now. Has power at both home and work. No damage to his place at all. Here are pics of his 05 Boxster S and my 89 928 S4....we traveled together about 300 miles while on vacation. Its was a blast.
I would of thought the 928 would be a much bigger car but as you can see...they are very close in size.
