Default Whats the market look like for a Boxster S?

I thinking about buying another Porsche and found this on Craigslist today. Is it possible the market is this soft? I know the value of my 996 has fallen quite a bit but this looks like a great deal....are there any issues with a high milage S?

sounds too good to be true.

I've got 96k on my 2000 S and no major issues to speak of. and maintenance is easy.

Are you sure it's an S despite the listing of the 6 speed?

I don't think I've ever seen an S that cheap. It would be believable for a base Boxster, but not an S.

I thought I got a great deal a couple months ago for an 01 boxster S with 50K miles and similar equip. for $21,500.

I think they guys are right, salvage title maybe, or mis-listed. OR, crashed and reguilt. I'd want a carfax to start and a really good PPI before I bought that car, but if all checks out ok, it's a hell of a deal.

Get the VIN to me. I'd be interested in studying up on that a bit. I am selling my '01 with 63k miles and I couldn't get near that low!
