They are still trying to open Amereican Distributers. I suspect they will be here by the spring.

That does look pretty sweet. Will it work with the 986 as well (the car in the picture is a 987)? I guess you can open the hatchback and then open the rear trunk or do you remove the rear trunk lid prior to installing the Zeintop? Definitely keep us posted.

Hi,

The following product news should hopefully answer your questions:

The product will only be available for delivery approx. 3rd Qtr 2006 Reliable and well established dealers will be selected in the target regions to act as Zeintec distributors. Fitment of the Zeintop is not an "Agents Only" exercise but can be fitted by owners. The removal and fitment is a two person job and your Boxster's boot lid needs removal.
Targeted, A-priority territories are USA, UK/Ire and Europe. Sales to other parts of the world is certainly also supported but Zeintec will not have the same presence in these territories.
Cost is as yet unconfirmed but targeted retail prices are set at USD4900 with shipping costs excluded.
Colour matching: Zeintec follow the coded and dated paint matching process now popular with upmarket coachwork operators, thus, matching the colour of your 3-4 year old Boxster is simplified.

Target Mass for the Zeintop will be less than 30kg (66lbs)

Zeintec will start taking orders from 1 January 2006.

WELL I MET WITH ZEINTOP WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR ARE MASTER DISTRIBUTORS WHO WANT TO INVEST IN THERE COMPANY SOMETHING I WASN'T INTERESTED IN DUE TO THE AMOUNT THEY WERE LOOKING FOR BUT WHEN THEY RELEASE THE TOPS I WILL PICK UP A FEW THE TOPS WILL PROBALY BE AROUND $5000 BUT I DO NOT HAVE ANY ETA ON THEM YET
