Thumbs up My new S

Finally got it! First weekend out was a blast.

I don't think I could find a better car for the money. Amazed, impressed, permanently grinning ear to ear.

Look forward to seeing some of you on the road!

Mark

It's silver...!!!

you conformed, you are now part of the 90% who prefer balck or silver.....:-(

I expected you to be more of a rebel....but then there are the 18" wheels

,.....so maybe there is hope for you yet

Congratulations - and safe driving !!

Hey, beggars can't be choosers... If I was buying a 987S, I'd opt for the slate grey/terracotta or dark olive/cocoa combos. Since I wanted to start off on a budget, I looked for the most Boxster I could buy for a reasonable price, and I couldn't beat this one with a stick. Most people on the road won't see my car long enough to comment on its color anyhow. I'll just have to tune out the noise from my fellow Porsche owners.

Love the Speed Yellow, BTW. If I'm the conformist, you are most certainly the nonconformist.

Thanks for the bump!

Silver Porsches are classic.
Red Ferraris
Green Jaguars
Blue Bugattis
etc.

My next car 996S will be Silver and red just like my BoxsterS

Very nice, congrats.
Did you buy that car from Neil at Car Finder?
If so I almost bought it but ended up going with the Orient Red one, also 03.
See you on the road, happy MO2RNG.
Barbara.

Sure did. Nice guy, nice car, sweet deal... I like Orient red but I'd get the wrong kind of attention in that color. Congrats on your car! Enjoy it.

Nice car! I did the same thing - looking for the most Boxster for my hard-earned $$. The '03 is a great choice with the little upgrades for that MY: glove box, glass window, more HP, etc...

And btw, Perfectlap? That is one sweet looking Boxster! Wow! I am contemplating the bronze finished rims for my 996. You may have helped me make up my mind.
