Light seats?

Light seats?
Sorry If my threads seems relentless. But because my boxster is in the shop having the 911 engine transplant, I'm doing everything in one shot (new kit, wheel spacers, short shifter, litronic headlights, tail lights, and seats)... I've found the kit I want (LLTek) and now I need to price seats.. I'm looking for seats that are decent quality, but lighter than stock.. When I had my S2k, I almost went with Brides.. Any ideas? links? thanks

For a pic of GT3s in a silver 986, go to the RUF website and check Used Cars.
They have a 3400GT for sale with GT3 seats. Here it is:

FWIW, these are fixed seatback seats, so it's always a good idea to try to find some to sit in if you are going to be using the car as a regular driver, not just a track or occasional car. They are hard to get in and out of in my opinion.

they are very supportive seats and hold you in tight. (especially w/ 6pt harness)
in a 911, they sort of restrict backseat/ back area access, as they do not tilt.
on your boxster this is not a problem
the only issue is that they may be a little stiff for daily driving.
they REALLY connect you to the car.
best bet is to find someone in your area that has them and try them for yourself. some people find them fine for daily use,
while others may feel that the additional feel/support is not worth the price/stiffness
