I would like to know what is the quantity of oil transmission do I need to replaced the old one . Do I Use sysntetic oil !!!

2.4 quarts. Synthetic. You need an anti-tamper triple square bit to remove the drain plug.

What about fluid for the tiptronic. Mobile says their oil does not meet Porshe specs.

Do you have to get the tranny oil (manual) from Porsche? Can I get it from autozone or something?

Hi,
in Australia the following products are recommended by Castrol for all Boxster variants

Auto transmission (Tiptronic) - Castrol Transmax Z a full synthetic ATF (green colour)

Transaxle (and Auto's diff) - Castrol Syntrax 75w-90 (red colour)

I have had excellent results using these products in everything from OTR heavy truck diffs (Syntrax for 12 years) to my current cars and light trucks. Transmax Z has an enviable track record in a variety of very severe applications and is used extensively amongst 928 owners here. "Z" is a wonderful fluid and unsurpassed in my experience

It generally recognised here that these products are the best around and have an unparalleled reputation in both racing (F1) and rallying

I do not know if they are available in NA

Check your handbook to ensure that all relevant specifications are met
