I wish there were more pictures with this story, as it sounds like a pretty interesting project. I understand that a lot of folks are going to call this heresy, and I totally get it. But I do think electric conversions are a way that enthusiasts will be able to keep classics on the roads long into the future. I bet that in the coming years, we'll see a lot of shops step up to handle stuff like this.

Whenever I think about older vehicles with electric powertrains, I think about Gattaca... I loved how the roads looked in that movie... There's a cool breakdown of the vehicles here.
