Shifter won't stay connected
Hello. I have the strangest issue.
A friend bought a 99 Boxster with an issue that it wouldn't go into park. I dropped the oil pan to see the link had come out of the slider which goes deeper into the transmission. I loosened the valve body enough to put it back in. Changed the filter and fresh atf. As it warms up the shifter gets stiffer until the link in transmission pops out again. Has anyone seen this before?
