Is this price unusually low?

99' boxster 5 speed with 119k miles for $3200

I paid that much for an 83' 944 in 2000. It looks like the cheapest 986 on cars.com is $4995

Yes, that's unusually low. But I'd take a look at it if I were in the market: A good going-over or a PPI will let you know what's what.

agree, it does look low if the car is otherwise in good shape. but definitely worth a look. I bought my 99 base Boxster for $3k with minor front end damage

I'd like to see some pictures that employ greater clarity. Those pics look like the seller was using a PotatoCam 3000 with the Spud 7 flash feature.

Without doing any research checking whole sale/trade in values at www.kbb.com and www.nada.com the price seems a bit low. $3200 is around -- at least this used to be the case -- "roller" territory.

Check out the car. Thoroughly. Could need a top. Tires. Brakes. Clutch. Or any number of other things. A car that old a new clutch and flywheel job -- which could run $3000 (or more) -- makes it hard for some owners to spend that kind of money for a car that is worth on a good day maybe not even twice that amount.
