Is boxster ever going to be a classic?

...Not A Real Porsche !
The 914 (4) guys.
And, IMO, the 718 owners should be accepted too.
(I think many people will hate me with this last sentence ! )
Yes, the 911 air cooled are definitively RP, ..particularly the SWB (64-67), the problem is that these are also Real PRICEY now.
Note that always considered the Cayenne as a RP too.
And still, (after being the owner of many RP), today, I still think that the finest handling Porsche that I ever had, ..is my old (2001) 986 Boxster S
(Ok, I have PSS9, negative camber, 6 pistons big brakes on the front, & etc.., but still, this platform is simply incredible good.)

Boxster prices probably won't be moving up any time soon. But I also remember in 1999 passing on a $3500 73 911E coupe because it had too many oil leaks, then around 2002 looking at a 964 C4 coupe manual for $14k. Oh well! But a few people are mentioning 718s, which I actually like quite a lot (and BTW every actual owner of one I've talked to raves about them). I think that 4 cylinder turbo design will help make all water cooled NA flat six cars more coveted. Just like when water-cooled Porsche came out and all the air-cooled enthusiasts predicted the end of the world. Well it wasn't, but It sure helped push air-cooled prices up. Fortunately, that also includes my lowly 914.
