Default Before and after 986 light transformation

For those that have not seen the transformation of removing the amber lighting, enjoy!

Looks great...it really updates the car IMO.

Are those full LED or halogen?

How much are they for a set?

More than likely, since the car was originally a non-litronic setup, then the replacements are halogen based. But appears the headlight enclosure uses LED as turn signals.

you can find the DRL led headlights most anywhere but found mine on eBay from a business up in Los Angeles. They sold headlights, side marks and rear tail lights. All was pretty standard in terms of install.

The running lights ss you as you can see are LED. The headlights unfortunately are halogen but the headlights work fine for the cost difference. I was more looking to update the look of the car but the led brake lights are far better than stock. Always a trade off 😉

Great look!

What is the name of the company where you bought them?

Headlights and side markers

I have some extra side markers since each came with a set if anyone interested, it is a 5 minute job to change them out.

Normally, I prefer the stock look, but not in this case. Much, much better! I'm sure the rear tail lights are much brighter too.

I wonder how much you could really get those headlights for. The prices seem inflated. I got the same taillights for $179 shipped a couple months ago.

Yes if you watch for them the prices are lower than right now. I have seen them for $799 for front headlights only.

Now that would be tempting! It looks great. I just did the rears due to the cost of the fronts...for now.
