Default Programming Key Fob Remote To 993 Immobilizer

I purchased a replacement key fob remote for my 1997 Porsche 911-993 Carrera. Were can I obtain procedure instructions to program the fob remote to my car's immobilizer?

Good luck with that. Not trying to be rude, but this type of information is seriously protected by Porsche. Think about it, if this information was readily available online, then more people would be stealing these cars. You're better off going to a Porsche service center and having them program the key.

There is no procedure. You have to have the key programmed by Porsche. You will need all relevant ownership documents as well.

You'll need someone with the factory PIWIS tool to program the key system, either a dealership or indy shop that has the tool.
