WTB: Boxster engine

My friend's 1998 Boxster engine just went kaput. He's looking for a replacement. Must be healthy!

PM me with details if you have one for sale. I bought this car new in 1998 and want to see it on the road!

Out here on the west coast Vision Motorsports seems to have a lock on these motors - give Dwain a call.

Have you looked at Ebay, Craigslist? Asked Woody? 20th St. Auto (in Phoenix?) Have you googled "used Boxster engines?"

Expect to do some work before you can install--water pump, rear main seal, motor mount, and, of course, the IMS bearing. Maybe the AOS, too. Probably a tuneup would be a good idea, too.

Wish I could have found one this nice when I did my replacement engine:

Contact Provost Motorsports in Bordentown, they support a large number of SPB cars and can probably assist in sourcing an engine.
