99 Boxster Error Codes 1691 and 0604
99 boxster showing error codes:
- 1691 - MIL interruption in wiring, or elsewhere showing as Check Wiring from ECM to instrument cluster
- 0604 - Random Access Error
Trying to figure out the above. The dash appears to be functioning with no issues, but I believe that the PO had pulled the bulb from the check engine light, Doesn't matter to me as this is being turned into a race car, but can't find more details on this. 0604 I have never heard of until this scan.
Additionally it's showing 1124 and 1126 which I believe are due to a vacuum leak - we are troubleshooting those separately, and 0150 O2 sensor failing, Also not a problem as I was planning on replacing these anyway as preventiative maintenance as they are likely original to the car
Any thoughts on the 1691 and 0604? Nothing readily apparent in search.
