Boxster S rear deck lid emblem

Hello, I just got a 2000 Boxster S and it does not
have the Boxster S emblem on the rear deck lid.
I have the window sticker and it does not show
an "emblem delete" option.
Question: Didn't all of these come with the
emblem on the rear deck lid?

the car is 18 years old. a prior owner removed it either because the emblem broke or they didn't like it.

not a huge mystery here

often they get knocked off in the car wash or when the car is dried and the towel grabs the end of the "R"

I replaced both the "Boxster" and "S". Took a bit of planning to tape off old location of emblems followed by removal of emblems and adhesive. Turned out great though.

Emblem

I agree with the replies; likely removed due to damage. Right now my car is a “Roxster” due to emblem damage before my ownership. I’d like to replace it but the cost of the emblem combined with concerns of successful application of the new one have delayed my purchase.

thanks for the feedback, I am assuming they all came with Boxster S logo on the rear deck and this one is adios
